How to Take Cytotec

Please note, the following information applies to medical abortions using Misoprostol only for pregnancies that are 13 weeks or less, calculated from the first day of your last menstrual period.

The best way to do this is to place the Cytotec tablets (4 pills of 200mcg Misoprostol each) directly under the tongue, and let the tablets dissolve there for 30 minutes.
